FSE Digital and Flexible Learning Initiative – Enhancing Asynchronous Learning Resources

Overview
This initiative is designed to elevate the quality, accessibility, and impact of asynchronous learning materials, supporting flexible and blended learning across programmes. By partnering with the eLearning team, academics can co-create engaging, inclusive, and high-quality digital content that meets the evolving needs of diverse learners.
Objectives
- Improve the quality and accessibility of asynchronous learning resources.
- Support academics in developing or refining video content and digital materials.
- Ensure students have consistent access to foundational knowledge, essential skills, and up-to-date content—anytime, anywhere.
Why It Matters
High-quality asynchronous resources:
- Provide flexible, self-paced learning for students with varied schedules and commitments.
- Support inclusive education by catering to neurodiverse learners, international students, and those with different learning preferences.
- Serve as valuable revision tools, helping students consolidate understanding and prepare for assessments.
- Enhance student engagement and success in both online and blended environments.
