Teaching College Structure

The Teaching College comprises of six segments, each with a leadership team of academic and PS colleagues. The six segments are Curriculum Development and Delivery, Digital and Flexible, Recruitment and Intake, Student Experience and Graduate Outcomes, Teaching Academy, and Teaching Excellence Framework. Each segment has recently developed five-year strategic plans, and the teams will be engaging with people from across the Faculty to deliver on their priority areas.

The Curriculum Development and Delivery segment seeks to ensure that the Faculty’s taught programmes portfolio is the best it can be by meeting contemporary societal needs, delivering sector-leading academic standards, and meeting student expectations.

The Digital and Flexible Learning segment is involved in a variety of initiatives ranging from supporting the transition to the next Central Learning Environment (CLE) to creating networks for colleagues to share technical expertise and ideas. Find out more.

The Recruitment and Intake segment supports the Faculty in attracting the very best candidates from all walks of life. But as well as recruiting the best-performing students, as a Faculty we also want to remove barriers, increase access, and widen opportunities for those from less represented backgrounds.
