On the 16 May 2024, UCAS will process a reject by default (RBD) decision for any UG applications that were received by 31st January Equal Consideration deadline and are without an offer. We are working to process any remaining on-time UCAS applications ahead of the deadline. To date, the FSE Admissions Team have processed 21,954 applications, with 16,270 offers made.

Below are some of the key dates in the UCAS application process:

5th September 2023 We begin to receive completed UG applications through UCAS.
31st January 2024This is the deadline to apply for most undergraduate courses. Candidates may submit applications after this date, but providers cannot guarantee they’ll give it equal consideration – this is also known as the equal consideration deadline. The majority of applications are received by this date.
30th June 2024This is the last date for on-time applicants to reply to their offers. At this point, offer-holders will choose their Firm and Insurance choices. This is the first indicator of study intentions ahead of A-level results day. Any applications received after this deadline are considered in the Clearing process, where places are available.
15th August 2024It’s A-Level results day! Admissions teams will receive results over the weekend and will confirm the places of suitable applicants. Any courses with places available will advertise Clearing vacancies. This will be the final opportunity to recruit additional students for September entry. We will have a clear understanding of our potential student numbers at this point.
