10-minute study break = £5 café voucher

Dear all FSE final-year undergraduate students,
I understand that you’ll be tired of hearing from us and the rest of the University about the National Student Survey (NSS), but this time, we have good news!
As a thank you, every FSE student who is eligible to complete the NSS this year will receive a £5 Unicafe voucher if they complete the survey. This includes students who have already filled it in, and anyone who completes it before it closes. Remember, whether you’re a home or international student, the NSS is for you! We want as many students as possible to complete the survey so that all voices are heard and we can make the changes that matter most to you.
How to claim your voucher
All you have to do is complete the survey and show the team at your Student Support Hub your survey completion confirmation email and student ID card. They’ll give you a voucher that you can use at any Unicafe café, including:
- Collaborate and Connect in the Nancy Rothwell Building
- Code in the Alan Turing Building
- Café 204 in Chemistry, and many more.
You can collect your voucher from Friday 10 April until 4pm on Friday 8 May 2026.
On top of this, all the same benefits that we’ve told you about before still apply. Any student who is eligible to complete the survey can enter a draw to win one of over 30 prizes, including backstage Parklife tickets, airline vouchers, Graduation packages, and 22 vouchers ranging from £25 to £200. For each response submitted, the University will make a £2 charitable donation split equally between four good causes.
To complete the survey, go to the NSS website and click ‘complete the survey’. Alternatively, you can check your email inbox for a link – all final year students eligible to complete the NSS should have already received an email from Ipsos with a link to the survey.
Best wishes,
Scott and the FSE Discipline Heads of Education
