The National Student Survey (NSS) is your to look back on your higher education experience and speak out on everything from the teaching on your course, access to resources and equipment, and even about the student voice. It is open for final year undergraduate students to complete during their final semester.
In 2024, from analysis of NSS results in recent years, the University identified 15 NSS actions to provide a foundation to improve your student experience. Colleagues in Departments, Schools, the Faculty, and the Students’ Union were involved in defining the standardised implementation of these actions. We were delighted to report that implementation of the 15 NSS Actions was completed by the deadline of 31 January, with all FSE disciplines completing all actions.
This year, the University is continuing to prioritise Student Voice and Assessment and Progression as key areas for improvement and impact. In addition, the University will be taking forward a number of actions under Organisation and Service Excellence.
